Bahamas on a
Princess of the Seas Cruise

The cruise was a gift from my grandmother to my mother and me. The three of us went to the Bahamas to "get away from it all." I remember pulling into the parking lot of the ship dock, looking up at the gargantuan ship and just wondering... "How is it possible that something that big still floats?"
I was SO excited to board. Once on board, I couldn't explore the ship fast enough. Mom and grandmother seemed more excited to sit on the deck with drinks, but I had to hit every button in the elevator. I found the Lido deck. I found the game room. I found the dining rooms. The clubs.
And I found other kids my age doing the same thing. We became quick friends and had the time of our lives during those 4 or 5 days.
Snorkeling was the best. And I've never seen so many T-shirts as there are in the Bahamas. The food was awesome too. The only thing I'd change would have been my age. I was 16, and if I were 21 at the time, I think gambling and drinking would have only made it better. I'd definitely do it again.
